National splurge day comes as inflation makes it harder for Americans to spend

It's national splurge day...but splurging is actually becoming a lot harder these days with prices rising and inflation keeping Americans on their toes.

May's release of the Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index said it went up 3.6% in April in comparison to last year.
