Por definición, una inversión alternativa es una clase de activo que no se encuentra dentro de la misma categoría que las inversiones tradicionales, como el efectivo, las acciones o los bonos. Esta clase de activos permite a los inversores institucionales y acreditados diversificar sus carteras con diferentes inversiones que no están directamente correlacionadas con el mercado de valores, aumentando así la diversificación general. Además, invertir en activos reales como inversiones alternativas proporciona una cobertura efectiva contra la inflación.

LB Strategic Income & Growth Fund qualifies as a Puerto Rico Private Equity Fund (“FCP-PR”) under Puerto Rico's Act 60.

Requirements: At least 60% of its capital to be deployed in PR assets or businesses.

Investor Benefits:

Eligible deduction of 60% of invested capital againts any PR taxed income (AGI) with a 15-year carry-forward.
Flat tax of 10% on distributions of interests and dividends (excempt from AMT).
0% tax on investor capital gainst generated by the fund (excempt from AMT).
