Health Concerns of Workers

According to a Glassdoor survey this month of July, 80% of workers are concerned about going back to work in the office and contracting COVID-19 there.

The remote work implemented at the beginning of the pandemic meant a huge investment for many companies and an adjustment for workers who are now adapted to a new way of work.

Although many like the idea of being able to go back to the office, a big amount are not excited to go back full time.

Working from home reshaped the economy in many ways boosting certain companies, systems, and online consumption.

Whether employees refuse to go back or end up again in the office full time, it may mark some new spending and growth or decline trends in certain industries. What's clear is that the Delta variant, vaccines, and masks will play a big part in that process.
